Caring about the employees instead of just the numbers. If your employees are your numbers will follow suit.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
I love the 401(k)... it's a really great perk of working here... In under two year while contributing just below the max to my 401k I was able to save over $30,000 for a down payment on my house

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Men in my same position make more than the women. Equal pay.

A much lower deductible rate would be great. Last year all our medical expenses that have been previously been covered in part by lower deductibles ended up being out of pocket.

The less you do, the more you are paid it seems. At our facility, a person that has one job, that takes them 2-3 hours a day to accomplish it, gets paid more and gets more stock/bonus than someone who has multiple responsibilities and is continually busy throughout the day.

What are some of the best things about your team?
My associates will do anything for me but won't do anything for anyone else and I feel like that is because I actually care about them and don't treat them like they are just a number.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The managers need to remember how the work is done and not expect things to happen with the snap of their fingers. They need to dig in next to employees to experience the work first hand.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Our manager continually berates our 3rd party manager. It is not perceived by our employees as a positive working relationship though the rest of us feel as they are part of our team. Management style needs to change.
