First Merchants: I have mixed emotions. My direct manager MAKES working for this company easier. If it weren't for them, I would not enjoy it as much. I think it's ridiculous and unfair that we are gifted (AS A BENEFIT) 90+ hours of sick time but can only take 6 days in a 12-month rolling period.

Legends Hospitality: No work-life balance. They expect you to be robotic and be willing to put in 12+ hours every day of the week. HR department is a joke. So many basic worker rights violations.

Appian: My time at Appian has been extremely positive. There is a joint purpose here & a feeling that we make a difference. The company has invested in me & I feel I need to do what I can to make that investment work. My colleagues are tremendous & actively assist each other. Cant think of a better place.

SWCA: Ive had a very postive experience at SWCA. I love the work, the people, the culture and the flexibilty.
Appian: Has its ups and downs. Some months are great, others are terrible. Hard to imagine continuing on a path like this and that frustrates me more than anything because I really do love our product and working here.

They train employees very well to help manage consumers, but they allow unprofessional people to thrive in a work environment that can be hostile to some staff. Many staff said to me that if it wasn't for the work with consumers they wouldn't be there
Appian: Good, but we need to drive that sales culture and a clear path around career.
Appian: My experience of Appian is overall good, however I do feel it lacks some of the modern benefits company offers. An electric car scheme which many organisations offer these days., a company credit card, instead of using my own I'm waiting for reimbursement.
Appian: Hired as an experienced hire, Appian made it easy to learn what needed to be learned and begin having an impact.

Peet's Coffee & Tea: The work is very acceptable, the management is confused at best and negligent at worst. There is next to no communication between departments.
Smartsheet: I really like and respect my team members. I believe my manager has my best interest in mind. I think we have an amazing product. I like working with my customers. Since losing my RSUs, I actually make less money than I did 4 years ago. The path to advancement is unclear.
Scopely: I love to work in Scopely, the LOA team is fantastic, nice people and an incredible day to day work bringing innovation.
Barracuda Networks: At Barracuda, I am able to work at a diverse, equitable, and inclusive company that innovates in the cybersecurity space. I have the privilege of working with top-class Software Engineers and am well compensated. Work-life balance is excellent, and a focus on mental health makes my work rewarding.

Barracuda Networks: My personal life has interfered w/ my job pretty much the whole time I've been here at Barracuda, and I'm always worried about being fired. Offshoring development while the product goes to crap doesn't inspire much confidence either.
