Im not comfortable sharing my honest opinion on this. When I have shared my opinion on a few things, I quickly felt like the position I was coming from was heard as going against the grain, rather than just falling in line.

In reference to the executive team, specifically those in Rooms Division I believe there needs to be some form of a youth movement. From an outside perspective, there seems to be a lot of complacency from non approachable people. There are plenty of experienced team members who feel deflated.

My committment has been undeniable but there are many reactive deicisions instead of proactive. Open titles not filled with no explantion but see the stress about money spent for team morale. So budget cuts are clearly a factor in these decisions but years of patience. Just hard at times.

I still believe in the feelings I had pre covid and the level of appreciation I felt back then. Covid certainly changed a lot of energy, rewards, and appreciation. On certain levels, you can certainly see who genuinely cares about the team and the work done on a day to day basis. Certain individuals it is obvious that it is not genuine but if you voice your concern or fruststion its almost met defensively so it is that way or you are going against the grain.
