Ups just had record profits last year and shared the wealth with its employees by cutting our pay by 25%. We are under staffed and under paid. UPS doesn't care about their employees. All they care about is how much money they can make.

The workers support each other.
What makes you most happy at work?
It's a good day when the building manager doesn't come out of his office.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It wasn't even really an interview. It was more of a "when can you start" situation.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most are willing to jump in and help if anyone needs it. Even though our work environment leaves much to be desired, it's the other workers that make it bearable to keep coming to work each day.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The people in charge to not listen to the problems we are having. The same issues occur over and over again and they do nothing to solve the problem. They do as little as possible to get past it in the moment for that one day but then the exact same problem occurs again. Solve it instead of not.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our pay was just cut by 25% after the holidays. If UPS was able to make record profits last year while paying us a fair wage, why did they need to cut our pay? Greed. Our job is not easy. We run for hours lifting heavier and heavier packages. Upper management never has anything nice to day to us.
