It's my dream job, I wake up every morning feeling blessed im alive but also that im working at a job I've wanted since I was 12 and wanted to drive the "big brown truck" like in the commercials. I'm proud to be an UPS employee, I hope I always maintain this outlook when im down about life. Love it!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think coworkers are negative on supervisors a little too much but it's two sided. I don't like that about UPS but I understand it, I work hard and never had an issue with a supervisor. Others may get caught slacking off but me I never bring that to work. Generally everyone respects one another
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I'm a natural born leader, I feel I can do their job when problems arise, and believe a lot of them just need time to grow into their position. I guess I like that they know im not here to play around, im smart about how I do things and ready to work hard. People depend on us
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For whats expected of us and to be able to get the packages out in a timely manner it's almost a slap in the face to be told to move any faster, I work hard not for anybody in the company or to prove someone wrong, I work hard only for the customers and to make sure everyone gets their delivery
