Upper management is entirely disconnected and unapproachable. Employees ate not taken seriously, especially the young black ones. Accountability doesn't exist unless someone in management doesn't like you. There is no consistency across products and teams.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting off each day. I feel trapped.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Supervisors should not be able to make up their own questions or manipulate results.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Being held to the same standards from team to team and manager to manager. Stop forcing people together who don't want to be together.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If promotions were fair and pay was based on work ethic. Upper management is involved on anything they have to speak up for but not the true issues.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
More involvement and visibility from upper management. If managers had the backs of the supervisors and the supervisors have the backs of the workers instead of worrying about how they will be perceived. White is not always right.
