Better equipment and a management team that takes safety seriously.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Management does not take input from hourly workers seriously. They preach safety, then force unsafe work environments. Threats and unnecessary discipline needs to stop.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Less pressure and threats from management. I was basically anti union until I started at UPS, now I am very involved with the union. Couldn't imagine working here without the Teamsters having my back.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Management team, nothing. My regular coworkers are great. To make it at UPS, one must be resilient. These men and women are the best in the business. I look forward to talking to many of them every day.
