It would be better if goals were more aligned.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Employee retention and morale are both at all time lows. We need to invest in our employees, including management.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

The current culture creates too much internal conflict. Despite different departmental goals, the focus should be on customers’ priorities... not shareowners.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Once the baby-boomers and their outdated methods of management retire, the culture will naturally update. UPS just has a larger percentage of long-tenured management.
