What makes me most happy at work is my ability to be trusted and left alone to do my job and my interpersonal communication skills amongst my co-workers and hotel guests

As an employee that has been a part of the Breakers family for more than 4 years, why should I get paid the same as an employee that's only been here 2 months.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
There needs to be a paid differential between longer tenured security officers, hard-working security officers and other security officers that are just going through the motions and being rewarded the same as officers that put in time, effort and sweat equity,
