
Everything is usually pretty great. Pay needs to be better. Hourly needs to be increased, especially knowing how easily the company can afford it. Most of leadership is caring and willing to put the work bc in. Management can be extremely spiteful and snarky (ocean house, general manager).

Our additional gratuity has been moved into our paychecks, as opposed to receiving it in cash daily. So we are greatly taxed. Also there is no such thing as a monetary promotion or wage increase for tipped employees. We basically survive on tips alone. It provides no incentive.
We absolutely need a higher hourly rate for tipped employees. With the skyrocketing prices for the cost of living (rent, groceries, gas, etc), our income should be keeping up with it. It is falling behind. After 10 years with the company, my hourly has never changed. This is a massive issue.
