When I interviewed 4 1/2 years ago, I knew this was the company I was going to work for for a long time. I believe Breakers West is my forever home and I am excited for my future with the company!

I started out as a server and I have made my way up into the Catering Office, where my heart will always be. This is where I was meant to be and I will continue to work hard to reach new goals and grow in my career!

I love that everyone you met when you start has been with the company has been here for a long time, i knew i was going to want to stay. I feel like i continue and can grow throughout the company

Everyone is so welcoming and warm. Its like you have met these people years ago and you share the same values as each other.

Talking and meeting new clients. They are planning a special event in their life and I love getting excited with them. My coworkers also make me love work!

You feel welcome every time you come to work. I love coming to work because of the people I work with but also how rewarding the job can be!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It is not that I don't feel undervalued, I just believe I have shown what I can contribute to the team. I feel it would be rewarding to be compensated for my successes and continue to succeed and grow in my career.
What makes you most happy at work?
The job itself and the people I work with. My favorite thing to do is go around to everyone when I arrive in the morning to say "good morning"! I think it is important to be present and get to know everyone you work with, makes us truly a team!
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is happy to come to work! Breakers West is a smaller team but we all know each others names, families, goals and we all work together as a team! To have a team that loves their job, shows the members, clients and guests how dedicated and rewarding the job can be.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have never been a person to only work for money when it comes to a job. Because I LOVE my job, it just is a perk to get paid for it. I believe in my short time here I have proven that and a raise would be a great benefit and I will continue to work hard!
