Scrum Alliance: Experience has been wonderful thus far. The team is super helpful and knowledgeable about their business areas. I have never been part of a group that is more supportive and committed to the work they are doing.
Choice Hotels: It's a decent company and people seem to respect each other, but the limited telecommuting opportunities are extremely disappointing. There is absolutely no need to spend 24 hours in the office every week.

Granicus: The leadership team is entirely disconnected from the Customers and the none non-ELT workers. They do not understand the technology and instead rely on market trends and "experts" from non-SAAS companies to influence its decisions and policies. Granicus is NOT amazon, but they want to be.

When one of your representatives tells a customer that they with call you before coming to your house make sure it is done. In my case it was not.

Choice Hotels: It's been good from the start, as I started out as a contractor and my work was acknowledged and therefore rewarded me a FT position. My manager has been very receptive and constructive when needed. My coworkers have all been genial and helpful. The perks are decent, nothing extraordinary.
RX: I enjoy the company and the people I work with. I like what I do. I think sometimes bandwidth is a huge issue. I understand working late, but I work late way too much without compensation. My work life balance isn't the best 8 months out of the year, and that needs to be recognized.

Choice Hotels: I have enjoyed my time overall but am happier now that I have moved to a new team. My new supervisor is excellent and I am in a much more positive mindset this year. I wish our hotel quality was held to a higher standard. We have a mix of very good and very very bad hotels .

First Merchants: It has been brought to my attention that new hires are being hired in at a competitive rate. However, for those employees who have worked here for a while, the compensation is very slow to be adjusted accordingly.

They lied to me two years ago about their pricing for my service, and then the other day, their representative who showed up at my door even lied about what company he represented. He had badges from AT&T and Quantum Fiber on his belt. Said they were one and the same company. LIE!
RX: It's a joy being able to put on events for fans. Our conventions are one place where nerds can feel accepted. The speed of each show's occurrences and the pressure of ticket sales for such a small team is a lot, especially with the unfair pay. But the people make it worthwhile.

I love working for my direct and dotted-line managers because they are caring, flexible, helpful, and knowledgeable. I trust them and feel comfortable.
RX: Rewards and compensation are not based off of how hard you work. Comp plans are not based off of realistic expectations, my pay has changed greatly year over year and not because of my hourly. I have had a different manager every year I've worked here and it will change again for 2025.

RX: Most employees are underpaid and overworked. Employees are routinely lied to about promotions and compensation. I have been told that if I want to get paid more, I should leave the company. That doesn't inspire confidence.

RX: The cons are outweighing the pros. It can be fun and there's lots to learn but the inflated cost of living is not countered by our compensation and weak health benefit options. Morale is low, people are overworked and tired. Go back to pre-pandemic headcount so people can do their jobs right.

RX: Overworked, underpaid, and lied to about the amount and quality of support. Promotions and compensation are not dependent on the quality of your work, your experience, your talent, your skill, or the performance of your business unit or the overall business. Remote work is a nice perk!
RX: I love my job,; colleagues, the shows I work on are magical (Entertainment Division: MIPCOM, MIP CANCUN etc.) but th work schedule is ecthic, we have to run 4 shows a year, it is back to back, no a lot of break and I think my salary and position is undervalued compare to the great work I do.
RX: Work with some great people but the compensation is not up to par with the cost of living in the immediate area of the HQ office. This would be a dream job, but it doesn't pay very well.
RX: Great culture socially. Limited opportunities. Undervaluing skills that employees have lead to less motivation. Tendency for leadership to focus on a couple key players and overlook the 40 others who have a unique skill set that the company could benefit from.

Velosio: I have been here less than a year and Velosio is typical compared to other places I have worked. There are some really great helpful people and there are others that you try and avoid. Not all days are the best, but overall working here is an ok experience.

Goals are set unattainably high, and there are WAY too many trainings rolled out at once. We are having a hard time prioritizing our work and are limited in our financial success re goals.

RX: The company used to be run by "sales" minded people, that created a healthy culture; Now it is run by "numbers" people that only care about money and to micromanage the employees to assure sales and savings. The use of the internal registration platform is a waste of money and resources!

RX: I started very motivated and full of ideas, but I feel like the company didn't hear me out and always tried to pay me the less as possible. I felt no recognition from my managers, so now I prefer to prioritize my life balance

RX: It's been extremely stressful for about 4-5 years. That pace really hasn't slowed down and it is becoming taxing on the team.
RX: Shows and teams are great, we could do so much better with more trust in field teams, more bravery on new projects ("big bets" are just a catchphrase, in real life, no one dares to take risks), modern processes and tools that actually save us time instead of eating it.

Keystone RV Company: Customer service, it has been terrible. We've been asking for help with the manufacturing problems. And the customer service team is trying to piece back my brand new 2023 camper.
RX: When I accepted the challenge the benefits were different, they said that I'll build a career in the company, so I believed in this fairy tale and since then I was part of a compliance case, my manager left, and I still don't think I'll have the opportunity now.
Salesforce: Recognition and Performance-Based Incentives can be improved
