XPO: Was a very positive experience for the first 2 years but the last year and a half service has really deteriorated and it is very hard to keep customers and to bring on new ones who will stay. The company is trying to address but it is taking too long for most customers.

XPO: Overworked, area of responsibility is over twice the size it once was, I feel I can no longer get out in front of employee like I was once able to and this company could care less about what many on the front lines have to say, they never have.
XPO: Up and down, in the 6 years I have been here, I have had 3 different managers and the current position is yet to be filled. Hard to maintain continuity over that timeframe but it has provided opportunity to learn more than just my role as I fill in for various vacancies.

Everyone is nice but people are afraid to speak up against executive decisions and programs and how it would impact their careers.

XPO: XPO has a lot to offer yet the community attitude of us is poor. Everyone is stretched thin yet it's not getting better. Working 12-17 hours a day (DSR's and management) for the last year is taking it's toll mentally and physically. I believe I will be short 3 more DSR's by year end.
XPO: It ebbs and flows. Some days the work load and issues seem overwhelming, but other days your seeing good progress and have time to recognize the team appropriately.

XPO: I do back office IT software work and it is an incredibly challenging and fast paced environment. We service internal customers and help resolve a variety of program or process issues. 40 hour work weeks are unheard of, especially if you want to progress your career. It is manageable though.
XPO: Came from a competitor, we could have more accountability with our LTL dock on proper handling of freight

Amazon: I can not take a vacation in advance. You have to get a shift to apply. If you are on vacation, you make sure that you have to within 24 hours each day the rest of the day. I want to enjoy my holiday without worry. In my old job, before I retire, I have to apply a month or year in advance.

XPO: To much top down direction, not enough collaboration for success, Training shows the company XPO LTL wants to be and reality is that we can't retain people once hired due to that disconnect. XPO: As mentioned through out. I do enjoy what I am doing here at XPO. We provide creative solutions to customers. We are challenged within this industry. We do move fast, but I would say that is more market driven.

XPO: XPO is a fantastic company. We are winning tenders regularly and I just hope we retain or recruit people to ensure we are well able to service the new business. We cannot break our people - we are all our biggest asset and I hear negativity these days that I never used to hear.
XPO: It is the nature of Client Support. When you have multiple clients you can get hit from all sides at once. The only way to gain sanity is to have enough people to address the needs of the clients. There just isn't always a balance here.

XPO: My initial experience was not as good based upon a lack of training for the backend systems and platforms that a new employee needs to be effective from the outset of coming into a new position. My experience got better as I worked with others who were willing to help me.
XPO: Mostly good. I feel that HR does not investigate enough on situations. The 0% tolerance policy does not exist. The pay could be a lot better for what we do and what our bodies go through for the customer.

XPO: I haven't been working with XPO long. However, I see some of what the company is doing internationally. I see the focus on technology and growth. But I also feel as if we are building over a foundation that needs repair. The retention of employees should always be proactive. Not reactive.
XPO: Not a bad experience gives people opportunity to grow and progress inside the company but I would like to have more competitive pay. The janitors at my site make more than full timers do and I believe we do a lot more than janitors in our line of work.
XPO: If you are quiet, go along with manage, do not push back, do not push your own ideas, do not challenge the status quo, this would be a perfect company for you to earn a good salary.

XPO: I love the challenging work at XPO. The lack of Women at the VP and above levels is alarming. The lack of basic respect from the BU's to support functions is tolerated. The lack of cohesiveness between functions impact results. Sr. leaders humiliate lower level team members on cross functional calls
